Self Value
The value of one’s self is so often unaccounted for. We think what others have is what we want, thus we set out our goals to achieve it. We forget to think for ourselves; what we really value, or what our loved ones’ value. We are all so consumed by these extravagant success stories we eventually tune out the bitter and the sour of reality.
In a relationship, we like to think novelty; text every day, never ignore each other, lots of hearts, I love you’s, cuddles, “Netflix and Chill”, go on novelty dates, have high end food, kissing in the rain, hugs from behind, blah blah you get the picture. That’s what we expect in this millennial society with social media and the internet making certain things seem more of a value than as to what they really are. We then become obsessed with those ideals turning a blind eye to the morals and values our childhood taught us.
